Benefits of membership
  • All members have access to a GDR compliant, encrypted App called DISC. This allows them to view over 2,000 individuals involved in shop theft, other disorder or have been involved in incidents in licensed premises, share information by instant messaging and report incidents.
  • Participation in the exclusion order scheme
  • Over 600 users to share information with
  • WRCI stickers to identify a premises as a member
  • Services of the WRCI Administrators
  • A weekly newsletter containing links to the latest news, alerts, documents and upcoming events

About Warwickshire Retail Crime Initiative 
The Warwickshire Retail Crime Initiative Limited, (WRCI), is a county wide Partnership scheme to prevent and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in retail and licensed premises in Warwickshire.

The day to day operation of these schemes is a partnership process between the members, WRCI Limited, Warwickshire Police, CCTV, local radio schemes, BIDs and local Community Safety Partnerships.

The scheme is managed by two administrators employed by WRCI Ltd. They operate under a set of data sharing protocols agreed with Warwickshire Police. You can contact them via email or a contact form.


Retail
There are retail schemes at Leamington Spa, Warwick, Kenilworth, Stratford upon Avon, Rugby, Nuneaton, Bedworth, Coleshill and Atherstone, with over 300 members and 600 users.

Pub Watch
There are schemes at Leamington Spa & Warwick, Stratford, Rugby  Nuneaton & Bedworth, Atherstone and Coleshill. Following incidents the scheme members identify individuals by submitting a report. Each scheme reviews the incidents in a sanitized process and considers if the individual should be excluded from member premises.
